People who spend money, to save time are happier than those who spend it on material goods

Between work, family, friends and other commitments, there never seems to be enough hours in the day. The last thing you want to be doing with your spare time is menial tasks, such as cleaning the house right?

So the questions is, should I call Squeaky Clean for some professional help in the form of a cleaner?

Well, according to a recent study by Ashley Whillans, assistant professor at Harvard Business School, you should make the call. Her research into how people navigate trade-offs between time and money has shown that those who spend money to save time, are happier than those who spend it on material goods, significantly happier.
